Vasudeva Dwadashi is an important festival in Hinduism that is celebrated in honor of Lord Vishnu. Many people also perform a pupa where a photograph or an idol of Lord Vishnu is placed in a decorated manual (altar) along with other pupa items such as incense sticks, flowers and lamps. After the pupa is completed, people break their fast by consuming these offerings.

This period lasts for four months, during which devotees make a special effort to pray and meditate in order to get closer to God.
